For certain people, admiring an artist, especially a musician, can engender a desire to similarly inspire others. For Nico’ZZ (pseudonym) this revelation occurred when only 8 years old.
Fan of the legendary Donald Kinsey (the Wailers) and Albert King, he used his first pocket money to buy his first blues album. Uncommon in such a young child, this passion for the blues nevertheless guided Nico’ZZ.
Appearing on stage from the age of 14, he uses music and especially the blues as a means of expression and self-exploration.
Nico’ZZ guitarist, singer, accompanied by the Nico’ZZ Band shares with us a unique universe, offering a groovy, original sound, suffused with blues, funk, but also R&B and rock.
As a sign of success, Nico’ZZ has had the chance to be part of the Donald Kinsey Band that he so admired.
And the icing on the cake… Donald is to produce a track to be featured on Nico’ZZ band’s next album.
Also collaborating with several American artists (including Tim Mitchel and LeBurn Maddox) and touring throughout Europe, Nico’ZZ has never forgotten why he plays music, that is, for others.
Music, after all, is first and foremost about the transmission of feelings.
