Blueszcz Band is a Warsaw-based blues-and-rock band which combines experience, youth and sheer joy of making music together. It was founded in 2003 by Sławomir Chojecki, whose career started in the late 1970s and included performances with his “Spółka Akcyjna” group at the Folk Blues Meeting in Poznań in 1978. Blueszcz Band brings together musicians who share a passion for blues, rock and jazz. They love to improvise and not a single performance is the same. Every gig is different and a surprise – sometimes even for group members themselves. Classical sound, incredible energy, vivacious music, unforgettable atmosphere and superb entertainment – this is what all their concerts are about. Blueszcz Band stands for high artistic standards, great energy potential and the kind of blues-and-rock ease that is appreciated by the audience.
Blueszcz Band has performed several hundred gigs and appeared at many blues, rock and jazz festivals in Poland and abroad (Lithuania, Varniai – Bliuzo Naktys; Hungary, Nyirbator – Rhythm & Blues Festival; Slovakia, Levice – Jazz & Blues Fest, Belarus Mińsk – Minsk Blues Fest).
