The pianist and composer Jan Andr has moved from the simple keyboard to the Hammond organ recently. Inspired by the New York club scene his 6-member band has embarked on a more lively form of jazz linking tradition to genres such as funk or soul. The combination of the Hammond organ trio and the three-member brass section makes The Track Inspection a unique formation on the Czech jazz scene. Its repertoire consists mainly of original songs and compositions made by the band members.
