The ultimate LYRIC LATIN JAZZ Experience –
a new and irresistible fusion of modern jazz, latin jazz and
classical music.

FALK BONITZ

Falk Bonitz came to jazz after a ten year classical education. His passion for rhythm and particularly latin music took over and started its expression in the Falk Bonitz Trio. Later on, his sound developed into a combination of music from the romantic era and progressive latin jazz. This unusual fusion creates one of the most innovative ensembles of the young Berlin jazz scene.

Falk Bonitz’s professional path in the music world first took him down the road of theatre, as musical director and musician on different productions at Volkstheater Rostock, of cinema as live improvisor for silent movies, and to pop music.
Since 2009 he has been living and working in Berlin as pianist and keyboard player, accompanying and performing with artists like Keith Tynes (The Platters), Robert Martin (Frank Zappa), Ingrid Arthur (Weather Girls), Lulo Reinhardt and many more. Amongst them, Steven Tailor a saxophone and flute player, in a baroque-jazz project called ”BACHarts”, in which Falk finds his way back to his classical roots.

One of his latest collaborations is with guitarist Yuval Ron, as a part of his band ”Residents of the Future”, exploring new musical avenues in progressive rock and fusion jazz.
His most exciting one is alongside Haitian/Canadian singer Rachelle Ebony Jeanty, ex back vocalist of Celine Dion, Eddy Mitchell and Robert Charlebois, percussively playing in her new ”Afro Jazz Experience”.

In the recent years he played at international festivals such as Montevideo Jazz Festival, Alanya Jazz Days and in churches and concert halls all over Europe.

NORIAKI HOSOYA

In 2002 he took up the studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston studying bass with Matthew Garrison, David Buda, Dave Clark, etc. Besides, he completed a master class with Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets).
Furthermore, Noriaki Hosoya studied composition/arrangement with Ken Pulling, Greg Hopkins, Ted Pease and Scott Free.
In 2005 he won the „Berklee Outstanding Performer Award“ and completed his study in 2006 in Performance/Jazz Composition/Arrangement as principal subject. Later that year he returned to Tokyo working as live/studio bass player in several jazz/pop/rock productions.
In 2010 his first solo album called „Landscapes“ (Disc Union Company) was published. Since 2010 he’s been living in Berlin working as a bass player. In 2011 he received an endorsement of the Italian company „Wood and Tronics“. In addition to that, he’s the musical director in the band of the Canadian singer Rachelle Jeanty since 2011. YATZIV CASPI

As a professional musician Yatziv gained diverse experiences as drummer, percussionist and tabla player. 17 years ago he began to have a good look at the tabla. Consequently, he is a real master of the tabla working with well known artists of classial Indian music. As a drummer he performed in several Progressive Rock/Avantgarde and Jazzbands such as „Yuval Ron and residents of Future“, „Hot Fur“ and many more.
Besides, he played at international festivals in New Zealand, Canada, Israel, Denmark and Lithuania.
Among others his current projects are „Django Lassi“, „Yukazo“, „Soundwitch Project“ „Satyaa and Pari“, „Back to India“.
Yatziv also worked at theatre (Clipa Theater) and was involved in productions such as „Hair“ and „A Tribute show to Ziggy Stardust“.
