DESCRIPTION:Michele Cuscito – vocal\, harp\nPaweł Czajkowski – guitar\nArtur Barczewski – bass\nMaciek Kudła – drums \nTICKETS: 15/20 pln \n \nL’ORANGE ELECTRIQUE \nWhen in the end of 2008 guitarist Pawel Czajkowski and the Italian singer-harmonica player Michele Cuscito met the first time in Cracow\, nobody could ever guess that it was the beginning of a great artistic adventure. Since 2009 they call themselves “L’Orange Electrique”. That’s a young and fresh band\, but nonetheless its line-up underwent to several changes up to today. The “core” of L’O.E. are Pawel and Michele; a duet that melts together influences from brit-blues and American psychedelic rock wave. The musicians present such an eclectic patchwork\, a music that floats and swings among music genres\, that breaks music boarders\, that’s hard to be classified and impossible to be framed. \nThe music which the band creates is a cosmopolitan approach to each instrument and to each song. It’s based on the spontaneous interaction and personal freedom of composition and improvisation among the band members. A steady groove and the lack of genre-category boundaries are the launch platform for the musical “trips” to the higher music dimensions these guys will drive. \nRegardless the young age of the musicians and the short time of activity\, the band developed its work very quickly. L’O.E. has among its scores many shows and prizes in Poland such as “Festival im. Riska Riedla” (1st place in the band contest)\, Rawa Blues\, Wszyscy Spiewamy na Rockowo\, Galicja Blues Festival (after being awarded during the 1st student Blues festival „Bluesroads”). In addiction\, in April 2011\, during the charity campaign „Stypendium Bluesroads” L’O.E. Performed together with the internationally awarded guitar player Jarek Smietana\, while a year later\, they opened the show for the American trio Moreland and Arbuckle. Pawel Czajkowski performed again with Jarek Smietana during the third edition of the Bluesroads Festival\, playing with the band created by Smietana with the best musicians which had taken part in the previous editions. During the festival\, L’O. E. Led the jam sessions after each show. \nWe can expect a lot from these guys\, they already reorded an EP: “Brain Popcorn” and a live concert in Radio Rzeszow.
