PIETRO MIRABASSI QUARTET (IT) (SUMMER JAZZ FESTIVAL)

SUMMER JAZZ FESTIVAL

The Pietro Mirabassi Quartet comes from the long-standing musical and personal bond between Pietro Mirabassi, Enrico Le Noci and Arjun Ramdas, also known as the Black Thursday Trio. Years of playing together, shared experiences and a recent artistic residency in New York have built a solid, organic interplay and a repertoire deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. They are joined by German drummer Xaver Hellmeier, whose playing brings both swing and a rich musical touch to the band.

Pietro Mirabassi – sax
Enrico Le Noci – guitar
Arjun Ramdas – double bass
Xaver Hellmeier – drums
