Winner of several awards at festivals and jazz competitions in the country and abroad. He has also recorded three albums with the Wierba & Schmidt Quintet: „Maya” (2009)\, „Live in Getxo” (2010)\, „Black Monolith” (2011) and the album with vocalist Wojciech Myrczek „We’ll Be Together Again” (2010). \nhttp://www.marcinkaletka.com/ \nSZYMON MIKA \n \nSzymon Mika (born 1991) – one of the most talented guitarists of young generation\, prizewinner of International Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar Competition\, Grand Prix Jazz Nad Odrą and many more. \nRecognized for great technique and sound he also delights audience with uncommon maturity. Great personalities such as Peter Bernstein\, Mike Stern and John Abercrombie have expressed their admiration for his talent. \nSzymon has played on numerous national and international festivals (for example Montreux Jazz Festival\, Summer Jazz Festival in Krakow) and participated in many jazz workshops.
