The Parker, Parker, Pezda Trio is a modern jazz trio from America and Poland. They play a mix of original compositions inspired by various modern musical styles and their own interpretations of jazz standards.

Frank Parker – Originally from Chicago, Frank has been nominated for 2 Grammy Awards,  including one for his work with the Kurt Elling Quartet (‘Man In The Air’),  who he toured around the world with for 5 years.  He has performed on 5 continents with such notable artists as Roy Hargrove, Christ Potter, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Carter, Randy Brecker, Joe Lovano, among many others.  Frank now lives in both the USA and Europe and currently performs with Michal Urbaniak, Marcin Pospieszalski, Maciej Fortuna, and other top artists in the region.

Mike Parker – A native of New York, Mike began his professional career at the age of 17 playing in New York City clubs.  Now at the age of 25 he has already played concerts and festivals all across America and Europe, won several international contests and awards, and recorded 2 albums of his own composition’s with his group ‘Mike Parker’s Unified Theory’.

Mike has studied and played with such legends as John Scofield, Christ Potter, Eric Harland, Scott Colley, and Reid Anderson and he currently plays with N.S.I., the Nat Osborn Band and Three Waves Trio in addition to his own project.

Sławek Pezda – Born in Kolbuszowa, Poland, Slawek Pezda received his Master’s Degree in Jazz and Modern Music from the Krakow Academy of Music. He draws inspiration from such saxophonists as Mats Gustafsson, Evan Parker, and John Coltrane and has earned a reputation for his long, intense, and often cacophonous solos.  Pezda is involved in numerous projects including PeGaPoFo, Pezda/Gaweda Duo, and The Flash! and is the winner of the 2014 Art of Improvisation Competition, 12th Baszta Jazz Festival Competition, 2010 Azoty Tarnow International Jazz Competition, 2011 Jazz Juniors International Jazz Competition, and the 38th ‘Key To Career’ Competition.
