CHARITY CONCERT FOR RAFA

Hello everyone! Rafael is our great friend, a wonderful man with an eternal smile on his face, and besides, a trumpeter and regular participant in the jam session at Harris, from which you can probably associate him. And it was for him that the world stopped on March 24 this year… That day, in the morning, after a massive stroke, he was hospitalized, and then in a pharmacological coma in the intensive care unit. And finally, after more than three weeks, he came back to us, opened his eyes and smiled. However, a long rehabilitation awaits him, the monthly cost of which is about PLN 25,000. And that’s what we’re all meeting here for. Just as he always gave us his positive energy, now we want to return the favor. We are organizing a charity concert, the proceeds of which will be donated in ALL to a charity collection for Rafael. An additional donation will be made by the Harris Piano Jazz Bar.

At the concert you will be able to listen to four bands associated with Rafael: Freak Shuffle, Earthtwins, Szymon and LOOB.

Freak Shuffle is a group of young musicians discovering new sounds and unobvious connections in the area of ​​two musical regions: jazz and hip-hop. Inspired by the British and New York music scene, they have created their own style, which is the result of improvisation and memorable melodies. (Paweł Kowalik – trumpet, Bruno Sikorski – piano and keyboards, Wojciech Roman – bass, Nikodem Wikieł – drums)

Earthtwins is a Polish-Chilean-Mexican band formed in Kraków on September 2021 playing experimental fusion/psychodelic grooves. They are in the process of recording their first album, which will be released soon

Szymon is a musical bomb ready to explode on the stage! Free improvisation, based on heavy rock riffs in combination with psychedelic groove takes the listeners to a whole new world of sound.
