Eduardo Machado Quartet  plays Alegre. In this show Eduardo will present songs from his 9th album, “Eduardo Machado toca Alegre”, composer and bassist Eduardo Machado unintentionally reveals all the diversity and eclecticism of Brazilian instrumental music. The album, which honors the Brazilian musician and composer Alegre Corrêa, released in May 2021 on digital platforms, brings together a strong team that explores instruments beyond their traditional form, creating an atmosphere with hybridism of styles such as maracatu, baião, samba, bossa nova and latin jazz, still influenced by chamamé and chacarera, rhythms of argentine origin, present in southern Brazil. For this show of the purest Brazilian instrumental music, Eduardo will be accompanied by Eron Guarnieri on keyboards, Thiago Carreri on guitar and Duda Lazarini on drums to, together, present a repertoire of his latest album, in addition to authorial compositions from their previous CDs. A Brazilian repertoire with sonorous melodies, beautiful harmonies and an emotional rhythm. Together, they will engage the audience in a dynamic experience that only Brazilian bass can create. Moments where the pleasure of listening and making music is mixed.

Eduardo Machado graduated from the Conservatory of Tatuí (Brazil) and expresses, in his bass, dexterity and versatility, characteristics preserved in his 30-year career. Considered by the specialized critics as one of the biggest names in Brazilian bass players today, Eduardo has released 9 albums and 5 DVDs, has given dozens of Brazilian bass and music workshops throughout Brazil. He participated in dozens of festivals, including the Hong Kong Jazz Festival (China), Jarasum Jazz Festival (South Korea), Rio Montreux Jazz Festival (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) etc. He made 4 tours in Europe with his group where he performed in cities like Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Zurich, Basel, Krakow, etc. Eduardo has played on all continents (Europe, Asia, North and South America).
