Mateusz Szczypka. Born in Tychy, Poland. Jazz guitarist, graduate of the Jazz Faculty of the The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of prof. Karol Ferfecki. He performed during numerous festivals both in Poland and overseas with artists such as Janusz Muniak, Grzegorz Nagórski, Brian Charette, Grażyna Auguścik, and Grzegorz Karnas, among others. member of polish professional big band. He’s not only the leader of Szczypka / Kaletka Quintet and “Hot Strings Gypsy Quartet” but also performs in many other jazz and non-jazz ensembles.
